About

Jordan Drake

Jordan Drake is an independent film producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Lake Forest Films is his production banner, named after the street where he and his brothers grew up in Southern California, watching movies on the family’s 16-inch CRT television.

After graduating high school, a career coach suggested that Jordan consider working in the film industry. He promptly ignored that advice, moved to New York, and got a job in public relations working on behalf of brands like IBM, Dr. Pepper, and Frito-Lay. After seven years in PR, wondering if that career coach was on to something, Jordan quit his marketing path and started working on indie film sets.

Today, Jordan is Producing for a select group of talented filmmakers. He is interested in stories that are truthful, gripping, and meaningful. His films have premiered at Cannes, Sundance, Berlinale, and NYFF, received theatrical distribution, and are available on platforms including the Criterion Channel, MUBI, and HBO.
